I was messing around with some stuff in Painter. I was looking at Ben Olsen's sketchbook on Conceptart.org. He got a really cool style. I wanted to mess around with some of his tips (mainly oil pastel and using paper texture). Just a quick one for learning and fun.

Still messing around with that first post picture. The guy is horrible, I was blind to it. Took some reference and eventually tried to do a paint over. But it looks to 'real' compared to the bot. So trying another direction (there's been several). Bot vs. bot. Also still screwing around withthe martian thing.

I used to do these lunch sketches. Each was about 20 minutes long. I decided to try and return to doing the occasional lunch sketch (as long as it's doesn't end up feeling like a chore). Hopefully this will be the first of many.
