For a Sketchwich activity. Been awhile since I dusted off the ol' markers and drew cartoony.

this was done almost just to get an update on here. Really fast and fun. Might play with it more at another date (If I ever get any friggin' time).

3 Step Zombie Feller'

Fun quick stuff tonight. Alrighty, quick tut. Not that I should be giving them...

1.Using a pencil in Painter, I loosely layout the head. This is the step that I personally think is the best. The most 'life' is found here.

2.Now I use the broad water brush under the digital water colors menu. This is basically the under painting. It's also going to be the last step before I kill the piece.

3. Using soft vine charcoal I lay in more opaque colors and define shapes a little better. Presto, a zombie head.

...at the outer perimeter. Hopefully he gets caught up in the barbwire.

Pink Zombo...

I threw in some background glow for fun on this guy (who was a fun and decent sketch up until that point), and didn't really like it. So I ctrl-z'd my way back, but I had laid too many marks, and didn't make a backup, so here we are. Pink son of a bitch. GRRRR! Oh well.
