Fun night. Quick work.

Pencils and a color.

I love when ideas are formed. I had a whole story about this girl in my head as i drew it. I might actually write this one out, I really like it. I also threw some color on the Ethiopian as well. I have no photos of it, but I built a raised bed this afternoon too, and had a blast at the park with my kids. PRODUCTIVE SUNDAY FTW!

The dude has no shoes! Debating finishing Space Harrier. I drew it because of a song, and on a night when I was tired and had just returned from a preschool meeting. I did not take the proper time to plan it correctly, and now there's a lot to do on it. We'll see.

Space Harrier

A bit of a mess right now, but it'll hopefully come together. I should not have worked on it, I got home late from a preschool meeting and was running on little sleep from the night before (My yougest is having a hard time sleeping). I think I would have fixed a lot at that stage rather than ending up where I'm at now. Maybe I'll abandon it. We'll see. Busy weekend, might not get to it until next week.

Swamp Thing Colored

Admit it, you thought the sketch sucked (except my Dad, thanks Dad!), but now you think it only kind of sucks. ;)

I kind of like it to be honest. It only took an hour and some change to color it.

Speaking of squid...

I watched it and loved it. The movie is growing more and more on me. I thought I wouldn't like it, being such a nerd for the source material, but it was really well done. I even like some of the changes a little more than what's in the book. Mr. Snyder, hat of to you sir.

This is a late night quickie of what I would picture 'it' as.

Do you know where squid come from? Well if you don't, here's the answer. The Great Mamma Squid, otherwise known as the Queen Mother. She grows polyp like tendrils that eventually turn into tentacled arms, or break off and form into every kind of squid in the world. It's true, I saw it on Discovery.

Frustrating Final

Hey all, I didn't read the fine print. The image will return after either I get rejected or the book comes out. They want it to be a surprise.

Photoshop crashed on me over and over again. Lost so much. Finally gave up here. Someday I'd like to take it further, but good gravy, enough pain for one night.
