I think growing up in a port town (Port Angeles of Twilight fame) has made me love images of muddy 'tides out' shorelines and parked freighters. This heavy thing is tied, it's antigrav engines work on almost no energy, so it's easier to just tie them to stations. Sort of like old school zeppelins..or modern day anchored tankers.

Dude, I lived in PA from '92 till about 2000! Small world.
Really? I was born and raised. I graduated in 93, but lived there until about 95. Parents are still there, so I go home quite a bit. Small world is right!
