I needed to do a quick goof off piece. the sad part is, I spent a good twenty minutes while falling asleep thinking about how I could make a Nostromo-esque puppet booth, and about what materials I would use for the puppets.
I'm never going to make this, why did I spend so long thinking about it?

Never regret time spent thinking - keeps the clockwork ticking, keeps you in a productive state. Maintains creative momentum ;)
Awesome. I'd kill to see this really happen! you could even do an abbreviated version (of course) to make it easy to pull off.
I am not joking when I say some other writers and I are working on a puppet version of THE EXORCIST, and doing it as a musical. I was/am a pro musician of 25 years before leaving the biz to become a writer full time. I had an incredibly vivid dream with the songs clearly emerging from my id. I woke up and remembered them, and immediately set to committing the ideas to paper/ProTools.
If anything I'll end up with some funny songs in the Allan Meken/Paul Williams vein about little girls and their crucifies, lol.
